I just notice this posting on the BaseOps website:

Folks, these are "our" people posting on a pilot website. Maybe we need to adapt this website to meet their needs. Just on this topic, there were 8
posts in 2 days, granted one or two were non-Nav's.
Are we missing our audiance? Here is another post:
"Thats the choice - HC-130s or Buffs - and I have till this weekend to make a decision. I have a bunch of info on Buffs - but I need as much as possible
on HC's (search funciton used). There is no one here at Randolph that is HC's, or Shadows for that matter."
I noticed that the BaseOps site has information for those in UPT (or whatever student pilot training is called these days) and for those going to multi-engine
aircraft.
I'm not saying we should imitate the whole BaseOps website, but maybe we could focus a little on nav's in training. Do we have anybody that is closely
associated with the nav training program that could provide some basic information about recent assignments out of nav training and overviews of the missions
of the various aircraft (with Op Sec being observed of course)? If we could get this started, I think the new nav's would use this as their sounding
board.
Thoughts, suggestions?
